Frequently asked questions
How much is shipping?
One charge per order based on how many snails are in your cart: 1 to 23 snails $29.99, 24 to 49 snails $34.99, 50 to 99 snails $39.99, 100 to 250 snails $44.99, 251 to 500 snails $79.99, 501 or more snails $149.99. Every order is hand packed in an insulated box and shipped expedited, with a live arrival guarantee.
What is the live arrival guarantee?
If a snail arrives dead, email a photo of it in the bag within two hours of delivery and we will replace or refund that snail.
Which days do you ship?
Monday through Wednesday, so orders never sit in transit over a weekend.
Why can't I order mystery snails to my state?
Arizona, Maine and Georgia restrict apple snails, which include mystery snails. You can still order every other snail we carry.
Will nerite snails take over my tank?
No. Nerites need brackish water to breed, so their eggs do not hatch in fresh water.
Can I mix freshwater and saltwater snails in one order?
Yes. They are always bagged separately.
Do you sell assassin, ramshorn or trumpet snails?
Not right now. We only list snails we can reliably send in good health.
Do the snails look exactly like the photos?
Snails are natural animals, so color, pattern and size vary a little.
